Im wondering if I bought a ac powered usb hub if it would help give me more boost to my usb external motorola antenna and perhaps take some drain off my notebook usb ports. I use my pc only on wifi and use the magic jack as my only phone. Sometimes my wifi signal is weak as im in a rv and sometimes a long way from a antenna. My Motorola usb ant. and my magic jack are always on. Thanks. |

Shouldn't make a difference but it would only cost about $10 to get one and try it out. |

|

First thanks for the fast reply to my queston about adding a ac powered usb hub....sometimes when I fire up my notebook pc get on line, then plug in the magic Jack it makes my internet connection go off?? As I said I have 2 usb ports always busy with a motorola usb antenna in a usb port and my magic jack in a usb port. I thought that since I do not have a wired internet connection I find that eary in the morning when I first turn on my pc that I do not have a problem with the magic jack loading and coming on. But as more people come on line using the wifi signal that I use cause's a weaker signal for me and a a usb ac powered hub might help?? I did order one today and will let every one know if it improves the magic jack or not. The magic Jack is sure great for us as we travel most of the time all over the U.S., Canada and even Europe. Thanks for your help and advice. Bluejammatt |
