don't you know that MJ can only replace the device if you bought it to their website.. the agents couldn't place a replacement for you because you don't have any records of your order in the magicjack's database. An order number on the magicjack's database is needed in order for them to make a replacement order..
this was told to me from a friend from tech support

like my example above, if you buy a graphics card from BB and you have an issue, you go to the manufacture for a replacement. u get a 1 year warranty. u dont see nvidia stores around anywhere, you have resellers. nothing in their policy says anything about exchanges if buying from a reseller. i went and bought another one and im gonna exchange it and return it. bastards.

Iman07, you stated in the opening of your first conversation with Karen that you yourself are at fault because you don't have your Best Buy receipt. Therefore, without proof of the date of purchase and without proof of the actual purchase, neither Best Buy nor magicJack are able to provide the replacement you crave because you are not able to prove to either sales outlet that you purchased the product from that outlet. You will either need to look harder to find your receipt or give up.

Also, and more to the point, not once in your chat with Karen or anyone else did you mention the specific technical difficulty you are experiencing that makes you believe that a replacement is in order. The matter of your lost receipt aside, how is anyone anywhere supposed to solve your problem if you will not even state your symptoms?

If you really want to complain about Magic Jack, here is how:

That is their actual physical address, name of the person in charge, and the Better Business form to fill out an official complaint against them.

Why complain if the customer is like Iman07? im sure BBB will laugh at him,
just a sort of advice before you complain make sure that you have the full info like receipt or anything related to your orders, its a shame if you just tell them regarding your problem with the magicjack with out the proof! Rolling Eyes

I would never make excuses for MJ CS, but that guy, come on. Common sense required, even from "customers."
