|
|
I bought the 1st unit & could make the calls but unable to hear the voice from other end but my voice can be heard on the recievers end.
Using win 7, & then I returned the magic jack for replacement one, same problem, after registering the product & hooking it up on Win 7 with a external mic & ear buds, I am unable to hear the the callers voice & now the outgoing calls are working sometimes, ANY HELP appreciated?
Is magic jack compatible with win 7 coz with win xp it worked just fine? |

I just purchased the NEW 4th gen, and I too had trouble hearing my callers, UNTIL I found the new separate volume control for MJ headpiece...once I turned it up to 100%, no more problems, and running great on my Windows 7. The control seems to only show up while the device is working on a call, so look for it then.
I've also just discovered that EVERY TIME I restart my MJ, that I HAVE TO reset the speaker level within MJ menu as well to maximum...it sets it about half way, and at a very low volume for hearing callers on the other end. |
