i have a jack that splits off creating two jacks. i wish to use a fax and a phone with the unit i heard that one can get faxing to work but takes some tinkering with.

has anyone been successful in hooking up a splitter for a fax as well as a cordless phone

you can connect both, no problem.. If using a fax, set the fax to the slowest speed and turn off error correction.. I've been using mine for faxing and talking for over 6 months.. I have a splitter that goes to the fax and cordless Panasonic base that handles 4 handsets.. It works.. Cool

.. The only problem I have found is when you are on one phone..You pick up another and you cant hear either till you hang one up..Play with them.. You'll figure it out. Wink
