|
|
I had been using magicjack with my laptop with no problems. I started getting error code 3, and was unable to resolve it. I tried moving the magicjack to my desktop that is hardwired to my router, but still no luck getting rid of error 3.
I disabled my macafee firewall and my linksys firewall still not rid of error 3.
I bypassed my router and was able to get my magicjack to work, even with my macafee firewall on.
I really need magicjack to work with the router on also, or it is not very useful.
I have opened the UDP ports, and currently have the router firewall off, but cannot get rid of error 3. |

Spent hours trying to sort it out. Error 3 couldn't register blah blah, Worked fine until my last automatic update Windows service pack 3. Finally I switched to IE explored and got another microspft windows update and bang, problem solved itself.
I'm happy again. any luck for you yet? |
