|
|
Anyone know of any possible hack to execute a command or program on your computer once a call is received to your magic jack from a specific caller id?
I have MagicFeatures and it had most of the foundation and with its source code I could probably do it myself but its obviously not opensource.
My Idea:
-Batch Script/Program Setup
-Incoming MJ Call Comes In From 647-000-000 - Result: Nothing Happens
-Incoming MJ Call Comes In From Say 647-111-1111 Result: MJ Recognizes the caller id and executes the set batch script or program to run.
I mean a more complex awesome version is when the Mj would answer the call and you could control your computer typing n different numbers/dtmf tones...
Been wanting this since 2009 when I first asked about it...... Would be awesome.... |

Implement a digital pbx like asterisk, 3cx or Axon and you'll be on your way. All these solutions have been available since 2009 |

I'm an IT Consultant for a living, I'm well aware of those solutions, but why go threw the tons and tons of time when it would take 2-3 minutes to implement into magicfeatures. In fact I just spoke with magicfeatures developer all these features are already being added and will be released in the next version in about a month. So I'll wait.
Thanks for the info though, honestly I would had to go that route, so thanks again. |
