Because I live in Canada I purchased a MJ from "themagicjack.ca", BIG MISTAKE!!! The unit stopped working after about 8 months. Victor somebody buys the units as a reseller, sells them online but offers no support if something goes wrong. MJ.com won't do anything so if you buy from anyone except them so you are pretty well screwed if you buy from a resellers. The funny thing is is my MJ worked great until this problem & I was telling people how good it was. Not anymore!! If anyone from Magicjack.com reads this - you guys need to screen your resellers a little better. They do use your name & they should have to have certain standards. I will probably buy a new MJ but not from a reseller.
I guess the next thing to do is to find out if he even has a business license for his 1030 Upper James #204,Hamilton, Ontario, L9C6X6 address. He does charge everyone the sales taxes. Maybe he will answer calls from the tax man.
That's my rant. Am I pissed off, YUP I sure the F*** am. |

Melina: No we are not affiliated with them since they are reseller. Reseller can just purchased the products but once they were done with that, they can just sell the product since those products they already purchased were already paid by them.

Melina: If you want us to assist you with your concern about the issue you have like when you plug the magicjack to your computer and it will give you an error, we can assist you with that but if you want us to replace the product that you didn't bought from us directly we can't.

I am sorry you are having problems with your magicJack. I did notice after studying the magicJack packaging/inserts that no where does it state or indicate about offering any type of warranty. I would suspect that magicJack would issue a refund or exchange for a defective unit during the 30 day trail period. Being that your magicJack unit is 8 months I seriously doubt that any blatant case of fraud was committed here. In my experience most electronic items in this price range usually come with a 90 warranty.
A solution to your problem would be to buy another magicJack and have magicJack customer support transfer your old magicJack credentials over to a new magicJack unit purchased by you. If you do decide to take this approach do not plug in the new magicJack, until after being instructed to do so by MJ customer support. Make sure you request that the additional year of service you purchased be added to your remaining time of your old magicJack. Good luck! |
