The "Lucky You" (kiss of death) upgrade came out around June 8, 2009.
Who were the persons that came up with the MJMD5 solution?
We are constantly using it and referring to it in our threads, but we never actually credit the actual problem solvers.
I think the secret lies between pages 3 and 7 in this post:

The title is very misleading, when you see the result.
It seems like DTM cracked and coded a first algorithm, Stewart consulted and corrected the script and netdata did some undefined magic. Finally, az1234 came out with a .NET Windows version, while teddy_b wrote the C version, or MJProxy, and made it run on a Tomato router.
It all happened June 24- 30, 2009, and was resolved just about 3 weeks after the upgrade.
Or, did I get something wrong, or forgot someone?
I also think stroths should be mentioned for his work on simplifying the retrieval of the Sip credentials with his MJ Utilities Suite.
