Hi

Just wanted to let anyone know that if you use MJ on older computer for phone service only. I have setup an old laptop just sitting in the corner. And if your specs are slow like P3/600MHZ/128MB ram. Then it's best to just turn off any virus protection programs, or perhaps just uninstall the virus programs all together. The only page on the internet I go to is my login page to change call forward settings.
So no other internet pages are browsed and thus unlikely virus infection. Been running MJ for a year now Since March of 08

Anyhow this will likely improve quality of your MJ calls.

But of course if your using your computer for something other then MJ phone service then not a good idea to turn off the virus protection.

Anyhow Just FYI

i think on my opinion you should uninstall the anti virus and everything causing the computer go slow because if for any reason the computer get infected with virus or spyware is a lot easy reinstall the OS, thats what i do...

If it is a dedicated MJ machine running XP make sure to upgrade to sp3, turn on windows firewall and uninstall the rest of that virus protection/firewall stuff.

This works well on my 650 Mhz HP machine, also running firewall in Linksys-G router.
