| Pretty much like the topic says TWC called me up the other day and offered me roadrunner with powerboost for a few dollars more a month and I said fine. I came home reset my modem gave everything a few minutes and verified my new speed and everything's great. Currently I'm using a Motorola surfboard model SB5100 and I'm very pleased with it's performance. They have sent me an ubee model U10C018.80 modem. A quick google search has given me some mixed reviews and I'm seeing these being sold refurbished on Amazon for a little over $20. I never asked for a new modem from them and I'm wondering what their motive is for giving me a new modem. Has anyone here used this ubee modem? |

Hi sabresfan
From context I'm assuming "TWC" is your ISP. With my ISP (Shaw Cable) I don't have a say in which brand or model of modem they say I have to use. If TWC lets you use any modem, have you tried the new one? Any difference compared to the old one? |
