Magicjack will not work after getting a new PC with windows 7. After startup upon signing in, I receive "Please restart your magicjack and try again [error 401]". I believe I need my account refreshed on the magic jack server. Please help.

I have tried the following direction from a previous post; did not work.

"MJ Rep: 1. Click Start tab and open your control panel...

MJ Rep: 2. Go to internet options..

MJ Rep: 3. under privacy tab.. slide bar down to "allow all cookies"

MJ Rep: 4. under security tab click on "trusted sites" then click the "sites" button..

MJ Rep: 5. type the following address into the text box..

MJ Rep: 6. https://reg.talk4free.com click the "add" button..

MJ Rep: 7. type in the following address.. https://my.magicjack.com and click "add".

MJ Rep: 8. type https://data.magicjack.com

MJ Rep: 9. Uncheck the box at bottom left of window that says "require server verification..." click "ok"

MJ Rep: 10. then click "Ok" close the internet options.

MJ Rep: 11. unplug the magic jack and plug it back into a different usb port.

MJ Rep: Please follow the above steps.

Mr. X: same error

MJ Rep: Okay.

MJ Rep: Please click the link to download and run the magicJack upgrade (applicable for both XP & Vista):

MJ Rep: http://upgrades.magicjack.com/upgrade/upgrade.exe

Mr. X: same error! but it did update..."

Date and time are critical for SSL certificates to work. Make sure your time and date are accurate.
