It will be interesting to see how the new 4G wireless networks from Sprint, ATT and Verizon will affect the MJ market.
I use MJ and a VoIP ATA phone with Verizon 3G EVDO now with an aircard going to a router to a switch feeding 3 computers and it is almost adequate with the speeds of 3G. With the 4G speed I think it will be more than adequate and will be one more nail in the coffin for consumer landline telephones.
Also, I think Windows 7 will also help my MJs performance. |

There is a huge amount of hype out there. True 4 G networks are still many years away. Yes,once they are there the landlines incl DSL and cable will steadily decline. Kind of concerns me, this whole shift from robust to increrasingly vulnerable technology.
MJ may not be needed on a true 4G system with capacity issues solved. Internet based, it may offfer voice services as a free by-product. |
