Just saw a rack full at my local 7-11 store. Is this a new development?

Somewhat.. they're now being sold at Radio Shack, Best Buy, Walgreens/CVS, 7-Eleven and others. It's become like a prepaid cell phone, a cheap & disposable phone service. |

Works for me. I bought a new one as a gift for my son. Nice not to have to pay shipping and wait for it to arrive. When He activated and installed it he didn't have to give them any credit card info. I guess you can cross that bridge when the year is almost up. |
