|

I am like many of you looking for my area code to be avaiable soon. But I cant but wonder a couple of things.
1. I too was on Tech Chat and they said my Area Code will be up soon, They knew my State as well as my Address to send me the Item. Why could they tell me that my area code was not up yet.
2. Just found out that my Trial period started the day I got the Magic Jack and not when my area code will be in effect..
Had this been any other Purchase from TV, I would have returned it... But I am going to give this Magic jack a chance.
anyone know what they have to do to get more area codes up and running? |

Last I checked, 765 wasn't even on their list of upcoming codes. I did see that 317 was, however it was still listed as pending. Good luck! |

I just visited the MJ website. Apparently, the 30 free trial ends today and when I tried to visit the pending areacodes link it was broken and kept taking me back to the very first page. |

I received an email today (Tuesday March 11, 2008) from magicJack founder, Dan Borislow, and from Mike Shippey, saying that phone numbers for Anderson Indiana will be available within 45 to 75 days. That is a 765 area code. |

Here is the new link to the area codes list: http://www.magicjacktv.com/5/areacodes.asp
As confirmed by the above poster, 765 is indeed on the list. (Be sure though and take whatever time-frame you've been told with a heaping pile of salt. I've been told North Carolina codes would be available "within 60 days" for nearly a year.) |
