|
|
As a newbie, I have a couple of dialing questions:
1 - Do I have to dial a "1" in front of a long-distance phone number in the US or Canada, or just the area code and number?
2 - Do I have to dial the area code for a number in my own area code?
3 - Can I dial a *67 in front of a number to block out my number from their caller ID box or softphone?
4 - Any other dialing anomolies or differences between a MJ and a regular or cell phone call?
I'm asking because I seem to have had various luck in connecting to long distance numbers during my first few days with my new MJ.
Thanks.

This one caught me off guard. Some numbers work with 7 digits but many require 10. I have just adapted the habit of always dialing the area code. I wish they would write the app so that any dialed number of 7 digits auto-prefixed my local area code.... but oh well... |
