i'm using IE and i only see the ads at the top from google. i believe they are put there by the hosting company.

Install this file, Blocking Unwanted Parasites Unfortunately this will also break most referred search results and require manual editing of the url, unavoidable collateral damage....

I have both Adblock and CustomizeGoogle for FireFox... Both work very well...
