No backup existed. nNow I back up file AddressBook.xml just in case this happens in the future. As you update your address book, keep backing up this file. But you can add me to the list of people that had the darn thing vanish on me also. I think it happened while fooling around with some of the updates on the MJ site. So now I also backup my phone book file. PS - at least you have the hope of finding your backup copy, I never had one so I was just SOL.
