Today a friend call me on my AT'T home phone, that my MJ Phone has all the time busy signal.
I call the MJ phone number 224-356-xxxx from my AT'T home phone 847-303-xxxx and receive the massage:
"We are sorry all circuits are busy now. Would you please call later"
Now almost 10 hours later the problem continue.
I do not have any problems to call from my MJ phone number anywhere. All outbound calls are OK including all phone number, which can not connect to my MJ and which have busy signal or massage "all circuits are busy now".
Any suggestions how to fix this problem. |

I am also having the same problem, I have a 773 area code. I tried calling from work ( ATT ) and get the same message. I then tried calling my MJ from my Sprint cell and same result with a different message. Seems to me its a MJ problem. What else is new...lol.
Still for the most part MJ is fine with me.

I just received MagicJack and cannot receive local Inbound calls from land lines within the same area code. I can receive Inbound calls from Verizon cell phones here locally. Also, I can receive out-of-state land line Inbound calls. My guess this is a local CLEC issue whereby it may take a few days for the local CLEC from other carriers to recognize the new phone number. Both land lines were with AT&T that got the busy signal. I noticed some of the problems posted below were with AT&T as well. My problem has been escalated to the CLEC "expert". I will let you know what we find out. Love the service otherwise. |

See my post here:

The local phone company is BLOCKING MJ calls.
Go to Chat and insist they fix the problem. It is a MJ problem and since THEY have provisioned the local phone number,
only THEY can call your local phone provider and have it fixed.
I had the exact same problem for two days, it is now fixed.
