one other way to get mj messaging to work: om pap2 anyways:

from line1 , you can forward your calls to line2

so.. set up mj on line2
get a free number from ipkall, free acount from freeworld
set up freeworld on line1

only give out your ipkall number

use only line2, your outgoing calls will go thru mj
incoming thru fwd, forwarded to line2<your mj line>

this gives you mwi alerts from fwd
and the ability to turn off call answer <among other benefits>

so basically u trade wmi with local number(unless you're in WA)...not worth it imho.

the perl script in other thread is interesting...my wmi does work with incoming new message but wouldn't clear the status.
