Since I installed my MJ+, I can not call certain numbers, including my landline at home. Sometimes I get a recording that MJ needs to sign an Interconnect Agreement with the carrier who owns the number I am dialing.
Try dialing 928-467-2241 (National Parks Service, US Gov.) from your MJ+ and listen to the recording.

It seems that the phone companies are feeling the pinch and are going to make it tough for MJ and it's users.

Has anyone else had this experience?[/b]

Here's a very detailed discussion on this http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r24566829-HELP-Magic-Jack-can-t-call-local-ISP-area-code . For now you could get a free google voice account to use with your MJP to make calls to the areas MJ does not have a service agreement with.
