Why is the MJ so flaky? One day it works, the next day it doesn't. Sometimes I can place calls, other times it's just dead silent. Oddly enough, my friends say that they answer the phone, but they can't hear me.

I've reformatted the device a few times and sometimes that helps. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Unplug, replug, rinse, repeat.

How is it that unplugging and plugging back in, multiple times, would somehow "fix" the problem? That just doesn't make sense!

When you unplug and replug, it generally causes the device to reset, and appear again on your desktop... Also, when it is new to a computer, it often reloads the software from the servers. This can make many problems be fixed. Doesn't always work, though.
