I have been having a issue to renew my phone number for the past 8 months. Many chats, and no result. "Your account is under review" is told to me each time. This for 8 mo. I am still unable to pay the $10 required to update my phone no. as my account appears to be frozen, MJ seems not to be able to "unfreeze" it, nor I to use it. My MJ has now been shut down and still nothing can be done. I have asked to cancel my existing account & then open a new one. The same answer " you account is under review" |

You may want to consider switching to Google Voice's $0/year subscription free phone service by installing and trying out the GVJackApp with your MJ dongle.
To try it out free for 7 days just download and install it. You can then decide if it makes sense for your situation before deciding to buy it. |

I live in Costa Rica, but my phone no. is in Canada |

that "could" be your problem, you may have to get someone in Canada to pay for you with their credit card. |

No, that is not the problem. My credit card is Canadian, with a US billing address. When the due date for the renewal of the phone # arrived, my credit card had expired, as well the arrival of the new card was delayed. I gave MJ the new card no., it was posted on my account statement, but for whatever reason the security code was not updated by MJ, & I also am unable to update it. MJ has been aware of this problem, but nothing is being done. |

I appreciate your input, but the location of the phone # has nothing to do with the place of payment. |

Sorry Bengt, but with you living in Costa Rica, having a Canadian credit card (that previously expired no less) and a U.S. billing address for the Canadian credit card there is simply no way that MJ will renew your account. |
