Trying MJ for the first time and it sure is disappointing. Skips in the sound, no CID, calls that don't connect, and the volume is so high I had to buy a new phone, which only helped a little� Are these typical issues?

I formatted the MJ disk and ran the Mac upgrade. No change.

Welcome to the forum.
Try running the voip quality tests at http://myvoipspeed.visualware.com
pick a location near you that produces 4 tabs of results.

That should give you a clue as to whether you need to use the search feature of this forum to address other issues
