This is a very very serious problem... Magic Jack Tech support are like the village idiots... They do not offer tech support.... just "idiotic" Trial and error BS...

I feel sorry for those they leave with messed up systems and registries WITHOUT fixing their problem.

I reversed ALL that they asked me to do (after I spend 12 hours chatting with their Tech Support) because they were IRRELEVANT...

THIS Forum has the BEST tech support... but it would be nice after a thread is TOTALLy diuscussed to provide a Knowledge Base section with accurate SUMMARIES of step by step solutions without the possibility of responding to facilitate the sharing of accurate information WITHOUT missing ONE critical step and confusing everyone...

What are your thoughts?

This posting should probably have been made in Rants and Raves and not Technical Support. What Technical Support question are you trying to present? Please read through the postings here and add your specific question to the bottom of the one that discusses your problem.

By the way, there is a knowledge base, in the form of a wiki. But, please be reminded that everyone here is volunteering to provide assistance to other members, so there is no expectation that someone must do something or another to support another member's problem.

You are right and you have a point... but REMEMEBER that I said it would be "nice"... I often end up being the one "summing" up stuff... How about WELCOMING new posters who mean well and put themselves out there and try to make a contribution rather than take and not contribute at all?...
