I think it is related with all of the magicjack device that has been sold.
Why the voice of the people has not been so loud who pointing out the low outgoing volume.
Without this defect, MJ is really mavelous product.
I don't think it is so difficult to remove the limitation of the outgoing (recording) volume in the TigerJet USB sound level adjustment.
In the use of headset, there is no limitation of the volume adjustment.
Partly satisfied MJ User. |

My experience has been that I always have to go in and adjust the outgoing volume in my control panel for my sound if I'm using a phone and not a headset. It's something to do with the hardware setup on Vista, which isn't so much of a pain once I figured out what to do, but drove me crazy in the meantime. I'd like to see an instruction/troubleshooting flyer come with the device listing a lot of the little tips and tricks. That way, folks would have something a little more tangible to look at rather than trying to find answers on a website. |

We had this problem, but we also had a very crappy phone (the cheapest GE corded phone I could find at Target). I just switched to the AT&T Trimline 210 and the outgoing volume quality improved massively. It's perfect now. I just wanted to throw this data point out there. |

I had one of those sorry phones too. They work fine on a pots system, but they don't do very well with either of my voip systems. I switched to the Uniden cordless, which also allows me to move around the house. |
