At least set up an item on Google Base, it is free and you can sign up for google checkout that charges less than Paypal

Why would I buy from a non-sanctioned person, to save, what, $2? That would screw up the warranty and returnabilituy of the MJ, too, would it not?
Nuts. |

Now at least use Google Checkout for payment so someone can buy it right away and use their credit card
Google Base under Payment
Check Only:
Google Checkout
Let your customers buy with all major credit cards
(You will sign up once you publish your item.)
Then set up Google Checkout to take credit cards. |

You will save more .
from magic jack website $39.95 + $6.95 ship plus tax.
I spoke with magic jack regarding the warranty quote from them : the only thing you have to do is to get a RMA# and they will refund your money.
But dont take my word find out from them.
Thanks laserjobs, just checked Accept payments through Google Checkout

BTW: I have seen some MagicJacks go for cheap on eBay and since it is through eBay there is really no risk. |

I have mine set to only allow google checkout. I think you may have to be logged in or something. I did not see it show up and I tried a few different times, I only have Allow Google Checkout checked and it still does not show up. I also have a google checkout account setup already. |

Magicjack does require proof of purchase if you ever want to return it.
I requested an RMA# but will wait until the last day to decide whether to actually return it or not. Here's the exact quote from them with private info edited out:
Quote: |
Update for Case #11111 - "RETURN: order no. 333-33333333"
Dear Name,
Thank you for trying our product. Your RMA number is RMA 1234. To help ensure fast and accurate processing of your
return, please write this RMA number on the outside of the return package, and include a proof of purchase along
with your magicJack in its original packaging. Please send the returned item to:
RMA:_______
magicJack LP
PO Box 6846
West Palm Beach, FL 33405
Your order will be refunded upon our receipt of the returned merchandise.
Sincerely,
magicJack Returns |
So, as the maxim goes, "Caveat emptor!" (Latin for "let the buyer beware!") |

original packaging
This little item could cause you some headaches also, if you wanted to return the item. I don't remember them flaunting that on their WEB site.
For my self, $39 dollars is just not worth a trip to the post office and I never keep bubble pack kind of stuff anyway so I would be out of luck either way ya go. |
