I've had my MagicJack for 4 months now. Im using it with the last generation of non uni-body macbook pro 15". i'd say 90% of the time i am plagued with choppy voice issues either sending and/or receiving. sometimes calling back helps. but its so unreliable for clear communication that i am now considering going back to a land line. there has not been any viable solution to this posted anywhere. magicjack support is also of no help.

How is your MBP connected to the internet? If it's wireless, invest in a LAN cable and try the MJ again. |

I have been using MJ with my Mac intel OS 10.5.6 Macbook since July of 08 and my service has improved greatly, I would say 98% of my calls are good now. I am connected wireless with a Panasonic Dec 6 cordless phone. How is your internet speed?
