I have had had magicjack for a year with no problem. Last week I noticed Icould not dial out any more. I upgraded the software thinking it would fix the problem but still no go. I then called the chat line and they told me it had expired. I renewed the software license but during startup it froze with the status bar at about 80%. I tried to call my magicjack phone number from a landline to ensure it was active and t was. The chat people told me to uninstall Nero and Roxio and I did. I chatted with another 4-5 people at magicjack, includinf a few from advaced technical support. They told me go into REGEDIT and delete some more things. The startup still does not work. I can hear a dial tone if I plug a phone into magicjack but when I dial a number nothing happens. The blue light is also on and this indicates the hardware is OK. Also, when the startup hangs, the CPU is at 100%. It never completely starts.
Has anyone had this problem?
