I just breezed through but it looks sweet. I may have to rethink my commitment to Ooma. Thanks for sharing.

No line port = deal killer for me. Otherwise, looks nice.

It is possible that they release later a version with line port, the same way as they did with 100 and 110 ( the latter with line port).
It depends on how many people bitch about it. My impression was ( and probably their impression too ) that most people do not care about the line port, especially with the 202 which is really the toy for VOIP people.
POTS are on the way out anyway.

The 110 was the first to be released. The 100 came after.

I think their plan may be to support an FXO port with a USB add on to the 202 (thus the USB port), but only Obi knows for sure.

Price is a little higher than I expected it to be also.

I wonder if they will continue manufacturing the old units? If not it may mean that a clearance sale on the 100s and 110s could take place in the near future.

That might be a part of it. At first, keep the price high for the novelty, lot of people ( incl. myself) may go for it, get the old units sold and then drop the price.
Depending how they handle the line port, they may or may not discontinue the 110, but only Obi knows.
