I seems every router I buy has no qos. I have three voip devices, a wii w/ netflix, 4 computers, a kindle, and a blackberry on one router. The lines all garble when any video or pages load.
I bought the latest vizio xwr100, thinking their qos would work. It doesn't. Traffic shaper xp is nearly ...

Dead bean on my useless dongle
Has anyone really sucessfully disabled the voice mail on a papt.
The darn sw doesn't run reliably on my xp. So dongle is out. Also, I cannot use or renew service unless I can totally disable the voice mail and allow myself 30 rings to get to phone.

It is always quicker to search and get an answer in 5 minutes than spend 10 minutes composing a post, wait half a day for results. Probably everyone knows this except the elderly, or other special needs people. This is 2010, not 1999.

incoming calls going straight to voicemail
Unfortunately, the soft dialer crapped out, and I can no longer use the gui or softphone. No fix in sight. (fan garble triggered by clicking gui or incoming calls 100% of time)

As far as I can see, this would require buying a new $100 router, me calling cable company and reinstalling their modem, flashing new router, then telneting into router to install the program. I am not ready to take this route just yet.

Just today, every time I plugin or restart magic jack.exe it asks for my username and password before starting. This is annoying and impractical. More mj software hell. I now need to restart software after every incoming call, else garble.

clicking noise
I am getting an annoying clicking noise when calling certain numbers. I pops about every half second without end.
Trying differing phones, same result. Some phone number are crystal clear, while other numbers are consistently constant annoying pops.

I understand part of MJ business revenue could be gleaned from the ads--yet to see it done. I suppose they could send us news letters instead. I don't mind either, as long as not abused.
