but yea it's connected to a desktop and it's actually hooked up to USB ports on the front of the Dell desktop. Does this make a difference?

I did hook it up for them and I'm sure if the MJ came with this extra cord, then I used it. You advise to remove this?

My parents have this phone and tell me that the calls are constantly staticy / in and out and MJ doesn't start up a lot of the time. Please help!

Yeah I've been having bad echo lately on certain calls. Some have it, some don't. I'm debating on if it's worth me spending $100+ on a new phone that's on that Compatibility list for MJ. Hmmmmmmmmmmm.

Ok, so I bought a USB hub with AC plug..... of course it doesn't work. No I'm out 15 bucks.

Anyone suggest any phones that don't have echo? I need a phone with 4 wireless ones.

I've only had the MJ for about a month now, not even, and I'm using the AT&T E5947B model. On some calls I hear echo a lot, and some calls the phone kinda breaks up. Others it works perfectly. I talked to the horrible technical support chat host and they gave me the list posted in the original post ...
