I agree. I can live with the hour limit they've imposed much easier than I could the 30 minute. Sure, it's inconvenient for phone sex, but it gets the job done cheaper than it costs paying long distance.

Mine did that a couple of times. Usually a reboot solves the issue, but I'd pay a nickel to know what's causing the problem. It's annoying as heck.

That should work because you'll be making a backward feed between the device and the jack itself. I've considered doing the same thing once we get out of our apartment into a house we're buying so I can have Magic Jack throughout the house and leave my voip phone tethered to its box.

Agreed. It's trying to boot up as if using a bootable cd. Change the order and you should be fine. I have the same Vista Home Premium and it works fine if they're in the right order.
