Running a BBS off of your MagicJack

Remember the old BBS days (for anyone that old)? I'm wondering if the quality of the MagicJack service is good enough to run one of the old-time BBS systems off of.

If anyone is able to do this, do tell.

I'm going to try to get it working on a crappy machine thats modem is connected to an ATA ...

This is what I did on my Gizmo MTA 6328-2Re (you'll need your SIP credentials):

1. Stick the network cable into the 'Lan Socket.
2. Get onto your PC and go to

1. Plug in MagicJack device.
2. Use Device Manager to Uninstall the MagicJack cdrom/disk drive/usb hub.
(Start>Right Click 'My Computer'>Properties)
3. Unplug the MagicJack device.
4. Delete the mjusbsp Directory and all Subdirectories
