Also, anyone know the best rates for prepaid data using a mobile phone as a data modem? BOOST had good rates, but their widen service isnt fast enough for anything like MJ.

anyone so hardcore a penny-pincer as that would have a dedicated machine for their MJ, a thin-client most likely. these days you can find a 'livecd' of XP on bittorrent, run that from a $10 flash drive on a $99 P2 off lease dell (tigerdirect)

dont forget to disconnect the hard drive in the dell ...
