It's not happening on the softphone...
But my phone normally doesn't have this problem - it's seems to be either a bug in the software (on the mac os) or something with the connection of the phone to the jack...not sure which. Incidentally when I connect my fax machine to it, the magicjack has even more trouble recognizing the numbers.

Problems with dialing - adds extra digits, etc.
For example, sometimes when I press "8" magic jack takes it as "88" and sometimes when I press "7" it doesn't register it at all. This seems to be happening with most numbers. Anyone know why?

Magicjack on my iMac G4
I have an iMac G4 with 1 GB of RAM. I plugged it into the computer but it says that the install application is not supported (I'm running OSX Tiger 10.4.8). It works fine on my macbook but obviously it's a lot better to have it going on a desktop that's running 24/7. Any thoughts on why it's not ...
