i just setup a new MJ yesterday and i cant get it to work either. my older one works fine with my PAP2. i have noticed that when obtaining SIP stuff with Stroth's utility, the user-agent is diff on the 2 MJ's (more current version on the newer MJ). is that something i should be concerned about ...

You need to keep a computer on but the sound quality on my pap2 is so much better, tried using 2 lines on one computer have 2 mj's but wouldn't work is this possible?? have 2 computers running the software so now I have 2 mj's on my pap2.

you still need an ATA (like PAP2) or SIP phone (like siphon/fring on a cell phone) to be able to connect to the proxy on your router. you dont connect the magicjack dongle to your router. that wont work.

i am trying to run a 2nd instance of this proxy on a 2nd DD-WRT router i am using as a client-bridge to my main DD-WRT router (which is also running a proxy for a diff MJ). i tested this with siphon (on iphone) and it comes up as "Maximum # of stale retires exceeded" or some such error message ...

can someone help me with a Sunrocket ATS 6011s config (its the phone+router combined model from Staples)? i cant figure out whats missing but it always says "NO LINE". I have successfully setup MJ on PAP2 so i know SIP info is correct.
