I may give them a try just for giggles. I'm curious about their setup and will see once my MJ runs out.

You can buy Ooma from Amazon or Buy.Com for $230. If you live in NYC they both will charge sales tax but none elsewhere.

With Buy.Com you can get $10 discount with coupon and if you apply for ...

Here's what I think. The heck with soldering this or that, or buying this adapter or that one. Why should a consumer have to do this?

Never Comes

After spending hours on Magic Chat, the tech agrees your device is defective, they will send a replacement. They say you will get an email verifying this.

You have made 4 posts here and not one is a question regarding magicJack. I doubt you have even tried magicJack.

Laserjobs, I go back to last July of 2007 with MJ. My two MJ numbers both in NYC:

718-713-4427 which refuses to boot no matter how much time I spend with Tech Chat.

646-727-9795 ...

So why don't you ask a magicJack question instead of posting about retarded Ooma?

Hey Laserjobs, I've asked magicjack a thousand questions in Tech Chat and the answer was always the same, the techs all read from the same script. I have gone through six MJ devices , one worst than the other ...

Apparently, Laserjobs you must have a flawless magicjack that works all the time. You are to be envied. Unfortunately, some of us are not so blessed, so we have to find answers for our magicJack problems.

So why don't you ask a ...

Ooma vs magicjack

I'm not an MJ basher or a Ooma supporter. Granted Ooma costs more.

I have had MJ for 16 months and my subscription goes till next July. MJ has given me a lot of problems most of which have been listed on this forum. It works most of the time but on many connections phone quality is questionable ...
