First let me say that I am so glad to see this forum is still up and buzzing! I haven't been here in awhile, and it's good to see it so active!. I was getting crazy working so hard on each new idea to have it all wiped out with an upgrade.

I have a similar problem. The update partially knocked my audio out on both Vista SP1 and XP I can hear the dialtone, but as soon as the dialer starts, I loose all sound. The call goes thru, the spoofer works, I just can't hear ringing, anyone answering, or anyone calling.

Just an observation here, but if anyone doesn't know where the hosts file is, and didn't change it when they added the spoofer, the spoofer can't work.

Mike, I did do all those things, and nothing shows, still no sound. I think I might need a different driver, just have no idea which one. Good news is my inbound caller ID is working, and it's spoofing!

Sorry if this is in the wrong folder, but my inbound caller id started working with new spoofer! I still have no sound using the phone, but at least I know who I can't speak to!

I downloaded the new spoofer again and the back up files. The problem was something kept making both proxy's the 127.0.0.1 number. The local mj ip stopped changing to any of talk4free ip's. You might want to check those settings and see if that is the problem. New download w/backup works fine.

Mike! Thank you so much for taking the time to do that! Unfortunately, I still don't have any of those items in device manager. It looks like yours is XP, mine is Vista, but the only 2 thing under Sound Video and Game controllers are
