Make sure that you have it set up correctly....
I use a fax program for mine, and I have to plug a telephone cord from my mj to the fax/data telephone cord port on the back of my computer. For a machine, I'm not sure whether you'd have to plug it directly into the mj or into the data port on your pc ...

I've had my magicjack for about 2 weeks now, and I couldn't be happier with it! I joined this forum because this is where I found most of the info that led me to buy one. I haven't had any technical issues whatsoever, but if I ever do I know that I'm already in the right place :wink:
