Is the script any better than just hitting Ctrl/Alt/Delete and having the Task Manager pop up and then highlight MagicJack and hit 'End Task"?

BTW I'd rather have someone pull out my fingernails than do a search on this forum. Don't know what's wrong but the search function is painfully slow ...

magicsilence 2 is 7 day trial, magicblock is freeware. Works just fine. Old thread, yes, but it comes up still when certain words are typed into google. That's why I wanted to freshen it up. As I said, updated info that will now appear is that magicblock that's still freeware works!

I decided to try magicsilence free version in Jan/11. It still doesn't work at all.
magicblock freeware works just fine.

. Also search this site and you will find a script called Kill (process) in this case MagicJack which effectively turns MJ off and will allow your computer to sleep, hibernate or just generally goof-off - whatever.....
