They finally caved in and decided to issue me a new MJ. We'll see if the new one works...or not.

After using MJ for the past three months, it stopped working on Friday. When I checked the status of it, this is the message wondows is giving me:

"Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

I have tried reformatting the MJ drive ...

Is there some reason I wouldn't see a drive listed called "magicJack" in My Computer?

I'd rather not. If it's a problem with the computer i use MJ with now, isn't there a way to test it?

My MJ is plugged directly into the USB port on the back of my Dell desktop unning XP. I do not use the extension cable.

Nope. Only two drives listed. (C:) and PHONE (D:) Noting in there called magicJack at all.

I have the exact same problem you had...and I spent all day yesterday and today with the online techs trying to fix it...including the upgrade and still nothing.

I plug the MJ device in and nothing happens except a window pops up that says PHONE (D:).
