So, I ended up trying this with my cell phone and here are the results:

Family in New Jersey called my local New Jersey MJ number with their landline and the call was forwarded to my Canadian cell phone number successfully.

The number on my call display was not my MJ number forwarding the ...

Which number shows up on my cell phone? My MJ number that is forwarding the call or the number of my family in NJ? Still not exactly sure how call forwarding works. I also understand that my MJ doesn't have to be on to have calls forwarded. Is that correct?

I'm living in Canada and have family in New Jersey which is what I use my MJ for mostly. I have a local NJ area code, so they can call me for free and vice versa. Love it and it works great.

Anyway, I'd like to forward my incoming MJ calls from New Jersey to my Canadian cell phone.
