That's what I'm seeing as well... 10000-30000.

But, I've also seen it trying to use 50009 and 30719.

I actually have a Watchguard Firebox device for use at home.. I have in/outbound rules for every packet entering/leaving my network.

I'll just need to monitor and tweak I guess since MJ uses lots of random upper UDP ports...

Actually, it seems to be a firewall related issue. I have a highly secured environment, and it seems that maybe the port usage for the MJ service has changed.

Ugh...

Automate the download of upgrade.exe?

Hello,

I have a headless "thin client" PC dedicated to running MJ. It's working great. I have this PC perform an automatic shutdown/restart each and every night.

I'm wondering about the upgrade.exe's that MJ puts out. Is there a way for me to automate downloading/installing those on a periodic ...

MJ and USB issues

Hello,

I have sporadic problems with MJ. sometimes it shows up as drive letters as it should, and sometimes it doesn't... and sometimes the drive letters are there, but no files exist when you click on it. And sometimes it works perfect for a day or two.

Seems like I'm having sporadic USB issues ...

Can someone walk me through the steps to run MJ as a service under Windows XP?

MJ uninstall to start over

Hello,

I've messed with my MJ to the point where nothing works (I was trying to get it to run under VirtualBox with USB support).

Anyway, how can I "uninstall everything" and basically start over?

Thanks,
Troy

hi Mark - yep, that's exactly what I did. There's a destination part of the rule for the 62 servers in my city range.

Thanks for the feedback. It helps narrow down the outbound ports I allow.

I typically have a rule for each and every in/outbound packet. (Yeah, I'm a firewall freak).

thanks,

UDP Ports

Does anyone have the FULL list of UDP ports MJ uses? If I only allow 5060-5070 outobund on my firewall people cannot hear me talk nor do I hear them.

But if I allow ports 5060-50000, it works just fine. So obviously there are more outbound UDP ports then they tell us.

Anyone know them all?

Thanks ...
