I haven't used it in a year. Just connected it (tried two different computers) and it lights up but that's it! Computer does make a tone, like it knows I connected a device, but nothing else. No dial pad, nothing.

I find it really hard to believe it went bad sitting on my desk. I'm running XP, SP3 ...
