Well, my MJ service expires at the end of the month and since they did the revolving password thing I can't use my ATA. So, I ordered the Duo today and got the 50% off deal. I hope it works well.

I would be interested if anyone figures out how to get the credentials out of it too.

I think I'm going to switch to the Net Talk Dou on the 15th. My MJ subscription runs out at the end of the month, and the Net Talk 50% off is good until the 15th.

I sat with MJ tech support for a while via thier chat thingy, we ran through some things but it didn't help.

I understand about the rolling password and how that would be a problem running via the ata, but plugging in the dongle and running it through the computer should be working, shouldn't it?

I can get a dialtone, but when I dial a number it immediately goes into a busy signal.

For the past few days I've been having problems with my MJ. I originally had it running in my router, but then plugged the dongle into the computer and the phone into the dongle. It started to work again but is now not making outgoing calls.

How about we start a new thread for people whose ATAs are still working and compare notes. Perhaps we can find something in common?

well lets start looking for patterns , where the devices unlocked or did they come unlocked from where they were purchased ?

My mj is working fine on an ata so I will try and help as much as I can.

Hi all,

I got it working by not using the

ProxyName = proxy01.********.talk4free.com

That I got from my MagicJack SIP Info

I switched it to proxy1.miami.talk4free.com:5070
and can now get registered and make and receive phone calls including caller ID! Yay!!! :-)

But I am getting an echo on ...
