Hello like i said when i have an incoming call my MJ dosnt rang so i cant know if someone is calling me, can anyone help me with this please, and i have constantly bad audio sence that happens too please helpppp!!!!!!!!

I only get the second call CID on the softphone not on my Panasonic 2.4 Ghz i guess this is normal

that most be something on the MJ system on your account, tech support usually dont solve anything but you can try with them maybe help you with that....

i think on my opinion you should uninstall the anti virus and everything causing the computer go slow because if for any reason the computer get infected with virus or spyware is a lot easy reinstall the OS, thats what i do...

I have tried and I have failed. I just can not follow everything I guess. I have looked at the other info that you have listed and have tried to follow everything. I just can not get it to work without the jack attached. Thanks for any help you can give me.

I wouldn't try a powered USB hub unless I confirmed that using the softphone with a headset makes a difference.

I'd also eliminate the router to see if that makes a difference.

when i used magicblock the only issue haved was the softphone stop ringing on the computer when i switch to headset, i couldnt find a way to make it ring back againg, only making a restore of my computer before installing magicblock, everything else work good...

In my windows vista computer i test the MJ on VMware running and inside VMware XP image and in both ways works good to me

it seems I forgot to mention one thing:

when setting this up, leave the dongle plugged in, but end both process "magicJack" and "mjsetup" from the processes list in the Task Manager
after copying the folders and setting up the shortcut, still do not unplug the dongle, but run magicJack from the ...

acording to the live tech support when the 911 button turn yellow if the botton is pressed its ok because nothing gonna happens...

do the same as i do clic on add new location and simply put fake information when you clic ok with that fake information the MJ system will not recognize that info you enter and the 911 button will turn yellow wich means the information can not be verified thats what in live chat support told me ...

The 911 service is only available within the US i live in Colombia and i cant put my home address here so i put a fake address and the button turn yellow

Is the free number change generated by MJ or can you change it to what you want. Also the area I live in has three prefixes but MJ only shows two and they are not the one that matches my land phone.

I have win Vista and never had this issue on boot because like you said your windows is detecting the magicjack USb as a hard drive in FAT thats why he scanning the decide in search of errors but anyways thats not big deal

for me it only works the email change after live chat support made some kind of reset on my voice mail account and only after thta the email notification work

I have high speed internet too, some times i have that problem too but was that my ISP have some king like lags or something like that and MJ cut the call well thats what happen to me

Finally i found it the problem was that my gmail account i made it a few years ago when google open the gmail and i never define what country i was in gmail accoun so in the options menu i dont have the labs option but i put US as my country and done i can use the SMS option and works great thanks a ...

when i installed magicblock in some way he disable the ringing on the computer even if i use the computer mode i have to restore my computer to get it back because in the settings i didnt find the problem and magicblock any way the opoup will affect you in the game and anyother full screen app

i test the vmware option and works fine for me i mean MJ works great on the Vmware i think that could work for what you want

MagicJack did an update this morning, now I can no longer run magicjack on local PC, it is forcing me to plug it in the usb port, Even if cdloader2 is dsialbe (msconfig), and cdloader not in startup.

im not so sure for your number 1 question but the number 2 MJ have no way to block your caller ID directly dialing any combination or anything else you need to use a third party program...

sound quality here are 100 % fine no delay and no echo on cell phones calls when i call landline i have to use the * trick because normally i always have an echo...

if magicjack really is taking power from the jack simply chek on the softphone caller ID

im not very sure of that concern fo you but you can monitor the executable file in order to see the processes open on your computer and be for sure that magicjack dont do anything of you are afraid of

i have Vista Home Premium too and works fine... try restarting the computer and runing magicjack if not run magicfix because most be something on the OS
