Not 323, but I made a call today from the 678 area code to a 770 number (both near Atlanta), through the Atlanta proxy, and the choppiness was about the worst I've heard yet.
Boy, I sure hope MJ gets their act together soon.

I don't make or receive a lot of phone calls, but I made a couple yesterday and the day before, after Dan's so-called "improvement". Same choppy audio. I have a WRT45GL running Tomato with QoS configured per pagemen's tech tip article, I have magicjack.exe set to high priority (using Prio), I have a ...

SUCCESS!!!!!!
Many thanks for your help, guys! I put all the iptables commands (with the -I option not -A) into the Firewall section under Administration/Scripts, and voila! Calls now routed through Atlanta (which, I note, AZ, you had very good results with in your testing). My son has a friend in ...

THAT worked - the difference is in the command you just posted, it's using the -I (Insert). The command I was using was -A (Append), which is what was listed in the original post. I don't know what the difference is, but apparently (at least for me) -A doesn't work but -I does.
So after issuing the ...

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, originally, I wanted to forward one address to another, but the command I suggested (i.e., "guessed at" - pageman didn't supply it) didn't work at all (invalid syntax, you apparently can't just supply another address in place of the "DROP" keyword), so I dropped back ...

Ok, I'm doing something wrong here. I've issued the commands from the command line in a Telnet session, I've tried putting them into the Init and the Firewall scripts under Administration (then rebooted the router), but I'm still able to PING the supposedly blocked proxy hosts. What am I doing wrong?

I doubt your AC has anything to do with the proxy. I think the MJ program has a little dartboard with all the proxies on it...... My AC is Atlanta (and I LIVE near Atlanta), but MJ sends me through Chicago. go figure.
I tried blocking chicago, MJ started, said "Ready to call", but no calls would go ...

The DSL filter did nothing for me, neither did the TJ echo canceller (I have what I presume is the newer MJ device - just got it last month). Turning down the mic volume on the softphone didn't help either (but would that even have had any effect anyway?- I use a cordless multi-handset phone, never ...

Either I'm doing something wrong, or they changed the function of *67
I tried dialing my cellphone - 678-xxx-xxxx by dialing *676*78-xxx-xxxx, it rang, beeped a couple of times and a voice said "You have reached the Ymax test number, this call was successful", then a couple more beeps, and it hung ...

Running MJ on a UPS
Thanks to the excellent information provided here, I think I'm definitely going to go the thin client route. One reason (not the primary one, of course) is runtime on a UPS, which I presume would be way longer than with a PC.
Has anyone done any real-world tests, to see how long your UPS will ...

Re: I noticed the samething about the delay
HI,
I was starting to think that this was a MJ issue but then our office switched to a high end Nortel VOIP system and I experienced a bit of a delay. In fact I've had a number of dropped calls and audio issues.
That's real interesting. Our office is also going VoIP soon, using Avaya gear. I'll ...

Delay
Hi. I've been using my MJ for a few weeks, and am fairly satisfied. Thanks to the information I've found here, I think I'll be able to deal with the voice choppiness I experience sometimes.
Right now, though, one thing that concerns me is the delay I'm experiencing. I'd have to say it's in the ...
