Tried the wired and cordless. It seems like with the cordless the problem is more frequent. But it also occurs with the wired phone but rarely.
Tried also a new VTech out-of-the-box, but have same issue. do you think it may be a setup in the ATA? Any ideas/suggestions?

br:0 10.10.1.10 br:0 is ur LAN interface and ur ip should not be 10.10.1.10 as ur dhcp starts at 100 so go for a number above 100 it will start working.

YES it does work and it is very easy to setup once u know how. I did mine with a dd-wrt install., I did not use open-wrt package at all.

Follow my instructions below and u should have it working..

In startup create network interfaces for the number of MJ's u are planning to use

As far as I can see, this would require buying a new $100 router, me calling cable company and reinstalling their modem, flashing new router, then telneting into router to install the program. I am not ready to take this route just yet.

What I have found to work is using network aliases.
I have a linux server running in my lan which i am using for as the proxy but similar commands should work on DD/OPENWRT

to create the alias:
ifconfig eth0:0 192.168.0.10 up
ifconfig eth0:1 192.168.0.11 up

Yes sorry that was just a proof of concept. I don't have any of the router toolchains installed but someone who compiled the source before can modify and compile it again doing what I said about rewriting the port.

You could also try different proxy cities as suggested.

In theory, the same approach can be applied to DD-WRT -- just run two copies of mjproxy and you're done. So DD-WRT, Tomato or OpenWRT doesn't matter -- if OpenWRT works, then the other two should work out equally well, and there is no need to convert to OpenWRT.

If you have DD-WRT you should be able to download the firmware (OpenWRT) and flash the router via the DD-WRT GUI.

1. How did you do your port scan test? Lets say your router that's is running MJMD5 is at home. You should have done the port scan from your office or a network that is outside your home.
