I had that happen a couple of weeks ago, I had to un-install the usb driver for the MJ in hardware manager, then when I re-booted it found the device and installed it and it worked .
Don't know if you tried that route or not..My 2 cents

Well I've tried everyway I can on the resistor fix and I end up with the same result.
I can make calls, but I can't recieve any calls. When the MJ number is called it disconnects after 1 ring.
I've read and re-read the fix but, I have to be missing something.

When I call my MJ from my cell, the soft phone pops up and then it disconnects??

I'm running XP Pro.
I figured it out..The usb driver failed so I uninstalled the driver and re-booted the MJ and all is good now
