Reset Magicjack

Hello,

I am not very happy with my MagicJack and would like to give the magicjack to someone else for use (still have 10 months left on the subscription).

Can they create a new phone number along with new login information?

Thanks

In trying to set a new proxy for the MJ, is there anyway I can pre-determine which proxy might be best for me?

1. Will a proxy with the least number of hops be best (via tracert)
2. Will a proxy with the smallest latency (via ping) be best

Thanks

I'm having the same issue with X-lite. Only for incoming calls, my voice is not transmitted. Did you figure out a fix?

Wouldn't it be easier to reroute the hostname and IP address to the desired SIP Proxy server/IP via the hosts file?

i.e. for example if the dump log ...

Re: Audio Issues

That would give you an idea whether QoS would be worth investing in. That was your original question. (It also suggests other ...

Audio Issues

Hello,

Just got a new MJ (3 weeks?) and was having audio issues (I hear choppy audio and the receiver hears draining/dying audio with intermittent static).

Recycled through all the USB ports on the PC and the laptop. No luck. Tried two different phones (both corded) and a brand new USB headset ...
